If not, Hamill (2013) cautions that it becomesdominance and is no longer leadership. The leadership concept isdescribed by Küpers &amp Pauleen (2013), while assessing theinfluence of communication skills and power. From group’sperspective, the power that the leader has is in relation to the wayin which he or she can apply his or her communication skills so as tohave an influence on the other members of the group.

Theability and power to control the entire group, especially from theleadership perspective, is based also with each individual member.Such kind of power could be derived from a number of sources, forexample as positions in organizations, availability of resources,people’s attraction to the group, knowledge, or special expertise(McSherry et al., 2012). From the definition above, many types ofleadership are in existence. Some are appointed or assignedleadership is in existence when the leader of the group is appointedin regard to his or her connections, externally (Küpers &ampPauleen, 2013). Others are elected by the group members.

Theinformation on communication relate to the leadership conceptanalysis through shared leadership, consensus, collaboration, andcommunicating results (Hamill, 2013). Sharpened leadership concept isoften required to provide an effective business community in liaisonwith development team. The concept is in line with communicationtechniques. Leadership concept analysis emphasizes on advancement inbusiness analysis through a communication style that is satisfactoryamong the group (Küpers &amp Pauleen, 2013). The insights I havegained this week include maximizing participation through teaminvolvement and development. The insights also include identificationof my own style in tackling challenges that would come my way.

Theoreticalapproaches to leadership as noted by Hamill (2013) are the traitsapproached examine the influential traits of the leader.Additionally, the styles of approach also would focus on the mannerin which leaders would perform exhibited directive behavior,especially in a group setting. From this perspective, approach tocontingency believes that examples of autocratic leaders aredirective to the entire group. Ondrejka (2014) observed that based onthe increasing complexity in the working environment and group, theleaders would need to be more flexible while exercising total controlwithin the group.
