OrganizationalStrategies for Quality Assessment and Improvement

Organizationalstrategies refer to the sum total of company’s actions with theintended purpose of accomplishing its long-terms goals andobjectives. Here, healthcare organizations are able to promote safetyculture through ensuring there services are up to date. Anorganization can implemented its quality-related strategy, whichinvolves teamwork, leadership, organizational culture, andgovernance, through well-executed strategic plan that requiresteamwork from all levels of the company (Miller, 2014). Suchconditions ensure quality improvement is experience in theorganization.

Ina challenging situation, leadership encourages to respond to thisthrough the creation bigger organizational strategy, whileorganizational culture ensures the lower management adopts the plansand goals to fulfil it step by step. Organizational strategy ensuresa unified effort through proper leadership, which is likened to acontinuous journey (Miller, 2014). Additionally, an organizationachieves all this by having proper horizontal integration throughintegrity of its leadership.

Inrelation to these change organization’s functional objectives areoften converted into smaller and short-term goals. Organization’smanagement adopts its goals and develops plans that would guaranteefavorable competition in the industry or marketplace. Oftentimes,Miller (2014) noted that the organization’s tactical objectives areimplemented within a year. To do this, these objectives becomesuccessful building blocks of an organizational strategy. Atorganizational lower levels, day-to-day operations are handled byfunctional managers, who ensures goals and objectives may takeseveral months to be completed.

Additionalstrategies that I would suggest to an organization include growth, integration, and diversification for promoting healthcare quality inorganizations. By addition of new locations, the organization wouldexperience high growth levels in its products and services (Miller,2014). Through diversification, an organization would take advantageof new markets or through addition of dissimilar lines of products orservices. Organizational integration means it will be able to controlits supply and distribution chain instead of only relying on productsfrom the outside.
