The assumptionbeing put forth is reasonable and of great help to the gas industryas evidenced by the findings from the data. The length of the paperis appropriate because it has been able to present their data andfindings without leaving out critical information.


Inmost cases, flow back data is not put into consideration whenanalyzing and forecasting shale-gas-well performance. This isimportant as discussed by the paper because it clearly shows itsbenefits. The paper was a success because it helped bring out clearlythe effects of ignoring flow back data in the analysis ofshale-gas-wells. Its benefit in the gas industry has been presentedwith precision. Clearly identified regimes are obtainable incircumstances when flow back data is used in the analysis ofshale-gas-wells.
